Work ethic is important, because, unlike intelligence, athleticism, or charisma, or any natural attribute, it’s a choice.

I can is 100 times more important than IQ.

Focus on progress, not perfection. Practise a little bit every day - little and often  Slow and steady wins the race.

There are no bad mistakes in maths, only discoveries.

Just stick with it, what seems hard now will one day be your warm up.

You can hire a tutor but you can't hire someone to practice for you.

Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and brave enough to ask for it.

Work on your weaknesses until they are your strengths and work on your strengths until they are second nature.

The master has failed more times than the beginner has even tried

Tough times never last, but tough people do.

Don't be afraid to take an unfamiliar path.  Sometimes they're the ones that lead you to the best places.

The bad news is time flies, the good new is that you're the pilot.

We all have two lives. The second begins when we realise we only have one. 

We are all maths people : step 1 - do maths and step 2 - be a person. 

Success can never happen without the journey (struggle).
