GCSE and A Level Maths are a marathon not a sprint

Knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice.

Tomorrow is worth more than yesterday but less than today.

Don't expect to be good at maths or understand things straight away. Be patient and persistent. Rome wasn't built in a day, but they worked on it every single day. 

Focus on progress, not perfection. Practise a little bit every day - little and often  Slow and steady wins the race.

Try and do one thing each day that you would really rather not do.

Work ethic is important, because, unlike intelligence, athleticism, or charisma, or any natural attribute, it’s a choice.

There are no bad mistakes in maths, only discoveries.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. 

Fall down seven times, stand up eight.

If you can understand just one thing thoroughly, then you will understand everything.

Success is a journey, not a destination.

The gift of imperfection - let go of who you think you're supposed to be and embrace who you are.

Good mathematics is not about how many answers you know... It is about how you behave when you don't know.
