The temptation to quit will be the greatest when you are about to succeed

Don't expect to be good at maths or understand things straight away. Be patient and persistent. Rome wasn't built in a day, but they worked on it every single day. 

We learn more from failure than we do from success.

Work on your weaknesses until they are your strengths and work on your strengths until they are second nature.

Don't be afraid to take an unfamiliar path.  Sometimes they're the ones that lead you to the best places.

Instead of finding reasons why you can't, find reasons why you can.

A book a day keeps the stupidity away.

He who has begun his task is half-way done. Have the courage to begin!

Shoot for the moon and even if you miss you’ll land among the stars/

You can have results or excuses, not both

Lose an hour in the morning and you will spend all day looking for it.

We all make mistakes. What matters is how we choose to move forwards from them.

Pure mathematics is in its way, the poetry of logical ideas.

You can pick up a mistake and carry it as a burden,  or you can set it down as use it as a stepping stone to greatness.
