Don't expect to be good at maths or understand things straight away. Be patient and persistent. Rome wasn't built in a day, but they worked on it every single day. 

Work on your weaknesses until they are your strengths and work on your strengths until they are second nature.

Work like you don't need the money, dance like nobody's watching and love like you've never been hurt. 

You can hire a tutor but you can't hire someone to practice for you.

Practice makes comfort. Expand your experiences regularly so every stretch won't feel like your first.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than the things you did do
