Don't be afraid to take an unfamiliar path.  Sometimes they're the ones that lead you to the best places.

Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today. If today you have no time, it means tomorrow you'll be too tired and the next day you'll be something else.

Don't expect to be good at maths or understand things straight away. Be patient and persistent. The most powerful warriors are patience and time.
