You’re lost in an endless maze and turn a corner, only to be faced with a fearsome sight. Three large stone doors stand before you in the passageway. You laugh confidently, remembering that like in the classic sci-fi movie Labyrinth, only one of the doors tells the truth, while the other doors always lie.
Each door has a plain wooden sign attached to the front. The sign on the left door reads, “The way out is beyond this door.” The sign on the middle door reads, “The way out is beyond one of these doors.” And the sign on the right door reads, “The way out is beyond the middle door.”
You were hoping you’d get to ask a question, but now you pause and carefully consider your options. You only get one chance at this. So, which door do you open?
